Porcelain Jewellery Making NEW

Make unique pieces of art work out of porcelain clay. Learn the techniques to condition the porcelain clay, blend colour, roll out and cut different shapes, impress designs and make beads. You will have access to an extensive range of colours including special effect clays to be used in your designs. Beads can then be used to transform into earrings and pendants (not included in this workshop).

Intuitive Painting NEW

Join us for a one day workshop and explore an intuitive approach to painting. No previous experience required, just a willingness to have fun and let go of
conventional painting techniques. Learn how to create momentum with colour, charcoal and texture, using traditional brushes and non-traditional mark-makers. Express your creativity in this critic-free environment.

Wheel Throwing Intensive - For beginners

Creative Writing Skills NEW

Improve your creative writing skills in both fiction (short story, novel, drama, screenplay and creative) and non-fiction (memoir, biography, autobiography, travel and food writing, and personal essays) in a supportive group environment.

Handbuilding (includes basic materials)

Monday: Mariana’s class will focus on surface decorating techniques experimenting with texture,
colour and pattern using techniques such as pressing, carving and layering through wax resist, slip
trailing, sgraffito, burnishing and more.

Wednesday: Experiment with handbuilding techniques to make teapots, plates, bowls and spoons
guided by our experienced teaching artist, Karen. For all levels.

Friday: Apply different techniques to develop sculptural work and functionalware, Techniques
include coiling, slabwork & pinch pots . Maria welcomes all levels of students in her class.
